Our Story
AL MITCHELL CONSULTING is primarily active in assisting all taxpayers in legally minimizing tax liability. Alphonso L. Mitchell established AL MITCHELL CONSULTING. He is a licensed Attorney and Counselor at Law who is professionally involved with each customer. He has:
40 years of experience in reducing corporate taxation through creative benefits and pension designs and ERISA compliance, and
30 plus years of experience as a tax consultant and a tax practitioner to individuals and businesses in all States.
He is a member of:
- The Ohio State Bar Association,
- The Cleveland Bar Association,
- The National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP),
- The National Taxpayers Union.
Consequently, AL MITCHELL CONSULTING is uniquely qualified to provide customized services to fit the circumstances of each customer and to optimize tax savings under current and ongoing tax laws.
Meet the Team
We are a family business with over 40 years of taxation expertise. Al is the most senior preparer, Iris provides much needed operational support, and Courtney manages the technical stuff.
Alphonso L. Mitchell
Founder/Consultant
Al is the founding member of the tax service team. He holds a BA in Zoology, and a Juris Doctor specializing in business law and taxation. Al has over 40 years of experience as a tax consultant. He is also skilled in benefits and pension designs as well as financial planning related to tax optimization. Mr. Mitchell is member of the Ohio Bar Association and the National Society of Tax Professionals (NATP). Al's experience and care for his clients is well known and enjoyed by all.
Stephanie A. Flower
Vice President/Executive Secretary
Stephanie's BIO is under development. Customer service is Stephanie's goal and she provides outstanding and highly satisfying user support and individualized care.
Courtney A. Mitchell
President/CTO
Courtney has been providing tax preparation services for over 20 years. He holds a BA in Information Systems and has experience in taxation, Information systems support, instructional technology, and management in corporate, educational, and small business settings. He is a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals and The National Association of Tax Professionals. Courtney is an US Air Force veteran and has a passion for customer service and the practical application of technology in business and education.
